Questions about pricing.

What's the difference between Starter and Pro?
Same product. All features included on both. Pro gives you 3× the file volume (30,000 vs 10,000 per month) at a 33% lower per-file price. If you run more than ~2 productions a month, Pro is the better math.
What counts as a "file"?
Each PDF or document you upload. A 200-page bank statement counts as 1 file, not 200. So a typical 4,000-page discovery production made up of ~40 mixed documents is 40 files.
What happens if I exceed my plan's file limit?
Hard block at 100%. You'll see a friendly warning at 80% so it's never a surprise. No overage fees, no auto-charged upgrades. If you regularly hit the cap, switch to Pro mid-month (we'll prorate).
Is there an annual discount?
Yes — we offer one for firms paying annually. Pricing is sized per firm based on usage. Email contact@batesflow.com and we'll quote it.
Can I switch tiers mid-month?
Yes, either direction. Upgrades and downgrades are prorated automatically.
How does the free trial work?
